Here’s a really messy list of the things I pack… (I’ll tidy it up soon) 😝
MY PERSONAL TOP 5
My favourite things in 2019 for travel…
Before breaking everything down into chapters, I just thought I’d share my personal favourites / items that I genuinely would struggle to travel without…
#1. USB Portable Blender
If you’re all for the protein, then this handy device will blow you a way!
Those protein shakers are sh*t compared to these USB powered beauties – which you can pick up on Amazon for as little as £20!!!
#2. GoPro Hero
If you’re thinking of filming some crazy sh*t and sending it to us, you’ll probably need the best travel camera ever invented…
Refurbed ones start at £50 – whilst the new ones you can grab for around £250…
#3. Bose Soundlink Micro Bluetooth Speaker
Size = small. Sound = big 👌
After all, the beach gets pretty boring without tunes…
I’m a sucker for Bose stuff, but there’s cheaper alternatives (listed above)… but if I were you, I’d pick one of these two…
#4. All In One Universal Power Adapter thing
Not new, but bloody useful. Most airplanes sell them for about £20…
I have two. One is a fairly cheap, portable thing (below) which I use when I’m out and about…
And the other is a beast which charges my laptop TWICE over and phone simultaneously…
Perfect for the frequent power-cuts in Thailand – and occasional long-haul flight.
I’m actually too tired to finish this post off tonight, so I’m gonna update it later in the week.
HAND LUGGAGE (FOR THE FLIGHT)
Essential items I need on the plane…
#A small holdall (or rucksack)
Good for carrying things for the plane journey and beach bits.
# Packet of chewing gum
Freshens breath, sharpens mind and eases flight nerves
# Cushion headrest thingy
Absolutely crucial! Flying long haul without it is suicide.
# Charger Cable
# Earpods / earphones
Good set of cans, as the earpods provided on plane are shocking!
Note: I’m no fashion guru.
I’m going to state the obvious items you need for now, but will get a fashion pro in at a later date to teach us what’s hot and what’s not…
3 pairs can cover a 7-days trip.
For days when I can’t be bothered to do my hair and (or) I’ve burned my forehead.

Sliders are a thing now, apparently….
Havaianas were so last year (although personally, I prefer them) 🙄
Needed for eye protection, and more importantly… Stealth perving.
GADGETS & DEVICES
Electric / techie bits….
I mentioned a couple of these in my top five but I’ll list again incase you missed that chapter…
# Mini extension lead
Fixes the single plug socket dilemma you’ll face when staying at cheap hotels / hostels (if you’re travelling this is a MUST)
PRODUCT, CREAMS and COSMETICS
Don’t forget the 100ml hand-luggage rule
# Osis Hair powder stuff
Great for adding body to hair (helps cover some receding bits) – doesn’t break into liquid hand luggage allowance either.
# Aftershave smelly thing
Smelling fresh is a thing. This little gem is a life essential – I carry around with me almost everywhere I go.
Aussie Gold is one of the best creams on the market. Smells so good, I wanna eat myself after applying it! 😋
Keeping skin moisturised locks tan in, apparently. I use Aussie Gold, obvs.
Pack them. Repeat, pack them.
If you’re too tight to buy them, pop to the clinic and you’ll get them for free.
3 QUICK MONEY TIPS
Couple of money suggestions…
#1. Turn off data roaming on your phone before you arrive at the destination to save $$$.
#2. Get a foreign SIM card (if travel outside EU zones)
Make sure your phone is unlocked before you leave UK or else it won’t work.
You’ll save FORTUNES using a foreign sim which you can set up as soon as you land (well worth it).
#3. Monzo bank card
It’s bright orange, has super cheap rates and is the coolest bank card on the market right now.
