Partying with Dr Martens and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

As a kid of the 80s, I grew up watching the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Leonardo was my favourite.

So when we heard Dr Martens were holding a retro launch party for their limited edition shoes to mark the film release, we got straight on it.

Add to that mix free pizza – obviously – Brewdog beers and a “Slime Menu” full of totally awesome cocktails, what more could you need.

The night was held at Kachette, Old Street and the venue was full of classic arcade games to take guests back to their childhood. And it worked.

I always had a crush on April O’Neill so having waitresses wearing tight yellow boiler suits just like the onscreen reporter was another highlight.
